It depends on whether the covers come off. Monvane and Boneless Couch Living have removable covers you can wash following the care label. Rove Lab's covers don't come off, and Ovios lists spot cleaning only: blot spills and dab with a damp cloth.

Care by brand
| Brand | Covers | What the brand says |
|---|---|---|
| Monvane | Removable, zippered | Unzip seat and back covers to wash; follow the care label for your fabric |
| Boneless Couch Living | Removable | Follow the care label that ships with the order; full wash instructions not yet published |
| Rove Lab | Not removable | Blot spills right away; dab stains with a cloth and warm water; don't rub; no machine washing |
| Ovios | Removable not stated | Spot clean with a damp cloth (104" L-shape) |

Spot-cleaning any boneless couch
- Blot, don't rub. Press a dry paper towel on the spill until no more liquid comes up.
- Dab with warm water on a clean cloth. Rove Lab says its polyester fabric should release stains without chemicals.
- Test any cleaner on a hidden spot first, and check the care label before using one at all.
- Don't soak the foam. Wet foam dries slowly and can smell.
- Vacuum weekly with an upholstery brush, especially corduroy, where dust collects in the ribs.

Washing removable covers
- Follow the care label exactly; temperature and drying rules differ by fabric.
- Wash all covers together, so colors fade evenly.
- Put covers back on while slightly damp; they're easier to stretch over the foam.
