For tall people, seat depth matters most: the Latitude Run's 35" seat is the deepest we track. For heavier adults, the Ovios 104" L-shape is the only one in our top five with a published weight limit, 1,000 lb per piece. Every model is low, so getting up is the harder part either way.

From each brand's product pages, checked on October 29, 2026. Ovios lists "Weight Limit 1000 Pounds for each"; we read that as each of its two pieces.

If you're heavier

Our take: for a tall or heavier buyer who isn't sure, the Rove Lab M1's 100-day trial is the safest way to find out. If you want a published weight limit, the Ovios 104" is the only one, but it can't be returned once opened.
